Al Lustie,Owner
A veteran of the microcomputer industry since 1981, Dr. Lustie has owned one of the early computer centers (in Ellensburg, Washington). He has taught computer classes at several colleges as well as for
individuals and businesses.
He has managed the IT and cataloging operations
for a large library district;
and managed help desk, shipping, technical support, purchasing, production and administrative
areas for a variety of organizations.
A graduate of the University of Washington in Forestry,
he went on to graduate from Berkeley Baptist Divinity
School, earned a D.Min at American Baptist Seminary of the West, served three churches over a period of 28 years,
and found himself back in the more technical world,
not of forestry but of computing.
His lifelong passions include:
- problem-solving
- learning
- respectfully sharing the Good News of God
- reading
- playing music, alone or with others
- enjoying his family
- creating things, from sheds to programs
- staying fit (bicycling, weights)
- growing as a human being
- and giving others a helping hand.
He believes that anyone in the computer industry
must be learning something new every day.
We, no matter how experienced, are always beginners at something.
